Calgary, AB – Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the acquisition of defenseman Aaron Johnson from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Kyle Greentree.
Johnson, a native of Nova Scotia, has 184 games of NHL experience between Columbus, NY Islanders and Chicago. In 38 games with the Blackhawks last season, Johnson recorded 8 points and 33 penalty minutes.
