Justin Pogge Now Part Of The Coyotes Organization

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed goaltender Justin Pogge to a one-year, two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 6-foot-3, 204-pound Pogge played in 48 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) last season, posting a record of 22-18-4, a 3.12 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.
In five AHL seasons with the Checkers, Toronto Marlies, San Antonio Rampage and Albany River Rats, the 25-year-old native of Fort McMurray, Alberta, played in 217 games posting a 106-81-20 record with eight shutouts, a 2.69 GAA and a .909 SV%.
Pogge appeared in seven NHL games with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2008-09 season, posting a record of 1-4-1. He was originally drafted by the Maple Leafs in the third round (90th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.
