Wings Recall Helm, Demote McCarty

The Red Wings today recalled forward Darren Helm from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League and assigned forward Darren McCarty to the Griffins. The Red Wings also assigned forward Randall Gelech from Grand Rapids to Rochester (AHL).
Helm is currently second on the Griffins roster in scoring with 18 points in 16 games (5-13--18).
